Taking the Day Off

Last Friday was a beautiful day. It seemed like it was really the first good day of spring or early summer. I couldn’t see us home schooling that day. First we went for a walk then daddy wanted to go back out and take pictures while I was home resting. The girls wanted to go with dad of course. DSC_0153Been picking flowers again…  : ) DSC_0150 DSC_0147 DSC_0146Our other view up by the barn. By far my favorite view. I love the country. DSC_0140 DSC_0133 DSC_0113 DSC_0108Yes, that’s our garbage can in the background. It works best for a big family. They pick up every other week and it’s always full.  But, we’ll try to focus on Elisabeth’s pretty flowers.  : ) DSC_0101Sweet Hannah DSC_0089  DSC_0093Little darling…DSC_0077One of our tropical looking flowers on our property. Yes, we are in Washington and yet we have cactus and snakes and flowers that look like they are from the tropics.  DSC_0086Daddy forgot to use the close up feature of the camera. He’s going to try to get this again sometime.

  1. How lovely! I love walks outside in the fresh air. The flowers and children are so beautiful! We decided to take the summer off from home schooling this year. I needed some down time with our new addition to our family. We are all still adjusting. You will be going thru the same very soon! Can’t wait to see his sweet little face!

  2. The prettiest flowers of all are your little ones. Love all the photos and it’s good to be able to catch up a little with my blogging life 🙂 I have been very busy lately and for the moment I’m taking a holiday from the computer! Hope you are keeping well, dear friend.
    Blessings, Sofia xx
