Thursday

Today is Thursday and they were supposed to come home today. However, they are not maintaining their body temperatures well enough on their own and are having trouble keeping their milk down, so Tabitha lost a little weight. Maybe over the weekend sometime they can come home. I’m sure it will be soon.  In the meantime, I feel feverish and achy as I usually do after a c-section so maybe it’s a good thing to get some extra rest and sleep for now. But, I sure can’t wait to hold them close and help keep them warm.  : ) I will be visiting them this afternoon or early evening. I can’t wait. I do have more pictures from last Saturday when the whole family went to see them. I will post them soon.

  1. (((HUGS)))) I think of you so often! Praying your baby girls will be home with all of you really soon. I will also be praying as your body continues to recover. I know I have said it before, I wish I could come over and help you out.
    Look forward to your pictures.

  2. ((((hugs)))) here too. I think about you often as well. I sure hope those babies can come home soon. I pray they grow strong and healthy really soon so they can come home and join their family. I really love your blog. (found it on MOMYS) so sad you didn’t stay in PA…. 🙂 We live in a very nice “plain” Amish area (not Lancaster) but oh well…. if we ever want to move we’ll keep Iowa in our minds!! 🙂

    God Bless

    Denise, (mominpa)

  3. Tonight you were on my mind very much and I realized I haven’t checked in lately. The girls look beautiful…and my heart aches for you. All mothers understand your ache, Hadassah. Giving birth to these tiny human beings and only having limited time to love on them, hold them, and whisper precious words in their ears is heartbreaking. Praying God is wrapping hs arms around you and filling you with renewed strength each day. let us know if there is anything we can do. Hugs, hugs, and love! Mary
