We made sauerkraut for the first time a few months ago. I can’t get enough of it now. It is so delicious.
Shred 1 cabbage
Add 1 Tablespoon sea salt
Add 4 Tablespoons of whey (derived from homemade yogurt)
1 Tablespoon of caraway seeds
Pound for 10 minutes and store in jars for 3 days at room temperature, place in refrigerator.
